A fire broke out in a detached house in Kaupungingallio, Espoo, killing one person. Firefighters and police were informed about the fire just before 6 pm on Sunday.

The single-family home that caught fire is located in Gibbotis. Police said no one else was home except the deceased In its declaration.

The detached house was not completely destroyed, but the fire was confined to a few rooms. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
