Nylon bead returns

The group Nylon Beat will be making a comeback in June after a six-year hiatus.

Nylon Beat's return gig will be seen in Helsinki in June. The new two-day Helsinki City Festival will take place on the 14th-15th. June at Dolo's Bolt Arena.

In July 2018 in Helsinki, Joanna Giaggia and Erin Antilla left the joint show. The duo's most-loved hits include: Past, Love Teflon, I fell in love with a loser And A hundred credits.

Six years ago, Nylon Beat called it quits after a summer festival tour after an 11-year hiatus. Both Jonah and Erin have established separate careers after active years in Nylon Beat.

Jonah told Ilda-Sanomi in an interview in August that he is now studying to become a chef.

– The chef's work must be creative and artistic. Plan everything, especially if you're the head chef, Joanna commented to Ilda-Sanom.

However, this is not a transformation of the industry. Joanna told Ilda-Sano that she will continue to work in music in the future, as the chef's course is a project among other projects.

In addition to the return of Nylon Beat, Helsinki City Festival's lineup of artists will feature more than 40 local and international artists. Among others, DJ producer Robin Schulz, Haloo Helsinki, Apulanta and Ketomasa will perform.
